...you want to hear from the Gentleman Farmer himself.
He recently expressed interest in writing a blog post himself, right here on this very blog. Without my even soliciting him! In fact, I'm a little hesitant to hand the pen over, because I think his primary incentive is so that he can take a few jabs at me. Even though he makes wine, grows grapes, builds cars and greenhouses and makes his own bricks...even though he does all these thing better than me and the only thing I can hang over his head is the fact that I am a better writer, he wants to dip his hand in this pot too. You'll notice my list of descriptive words and phrases for him in my sidebar. Aaron is a lot of things.
A writer is not one of them.
But, after careful thought, I concluded that we are, afterall, in this adventure together and that he has a right to share his version of our story too. As much as I try to capture all of our stories and happenings at Schram Vineyards, it is all from my perspective. Perhaps Aaron has some insight into topics I've only touched on that he can go into further detail.
I asked him, "What do you want to write about?
To which he said, "I don't know yet."
So I suggested we ask our audience and he thought that was a good idea. Now is your opportunity to tell Aaron what YOU want to hear about from HIM.
Do you want to hear more about his cigar making discoveries?
Do you want to read his tasting notes on our Marquette wine? Or about his favorite wine?
Maybe you want to hear the story of how he got into winemaking in the first place?
Do you want a step-by-step tutorial on how to make your own bricks?
Maybe you want to know how he keeps his hair so nice and clean cut? (Actually, I take that back. I call dibs on this post).
Maybe you want to know his secret for nabbing such a wonderfully awesome wife, plucking her out of uptown and convincing her to marry him and move to a farm?
Maybe you want to know what he reads before he goes to bed at night?
Or where he gets his sexy outfits?
I can't promise it will be this week. But sometime soon, a guest post will be posted by Aaron....under the condition that I will be his editor.
So leave a comment, or reply by email and let us know. Ready, Set...Go!
