Wine Tasting Round Two

Two back to back posts...amazing, right?

The other night we hosted our second round of tastings.  It was a rather impromptu gathering, but we were fortunate to have had such a positive response when we asked a selective group of family friends to come taste our wines on short notice. They were more than willing to come drink our wine and provide feedback on the blends, finishes and tastes of the wines we are getting ready to bottle.

We invited some of the more "experienced" wine drinkers we know for this tasting.

Aaron prepared tastings of the wines we are getting ready to bottle and requested feedback on a couple of different variations.

We got some great feedback and responses and now we have a pretty good idea of which we are bottling as a single variety and which as blends.

And we had a lot of fun in the process.

Even this guy was having a blast playing!

He found this wine barrel to make a fun racetrack for his little toy cars.  Such creativity!

This is also not an unusual sight at our place....

Thanks again to all of our wine tasters!

Meanwhile, we are putting final touches on our wine labels and have our first "series" of labels just about done.  Can't wait to share with you what they are all about!
